Cheekwood Estate & Gardens is an absolutely beautiful place. Seriously, from the moment you park the location is impressive. A few of my favorite spots are the Belvins Japanese Garden and Wisteria Arbor.

They had their wedding at a beautiful outdoor venue deep within the swamps of Lafayette Louisiana. Lucky us because for once in the history of Louisiana, the weather actually worked out in our favor.

Wondering what a “fusion wedding” is? I was too. In this case, it meant blending two different traditions into one celebration. Ritika, who is Indian, wanted a traditional Hindu wedding, while Kenny wanted a classic Catholic/American ceremony. Instead of choosing one, they did both. The result was a four-day celebration, with the final day featuring both ceremonies in a single day.
